How to improve the luminous efficiency of LED panel light? What to do to make my light products more competitive in market? Today, I'm going to give you a better understand on components of LED panel light, which would answer the two questions.

1. Aluminum Frame
Aluminum frame is the key channel for heat dissipation. Frame made from die extrusions cost less and the price of processing is lower. Die-cast aluminum frame enjoys a higher IP level, but the initial investment on molding is much higher.

2. LED light source
Usually we select 3528 led lamp beads, sometimes 3014 or 5050, for panel light production. Though the cost of 3014 or 5050 is lower, the luminous efficiency is slightly worse. The reason is that it's hard to design the light guiding network. Thus, 3528 becomes a better choice.

3. LED Light Guide
LED panel light guide is a key point to quality control. A bad network design causes a poor luminous efficiency. Usually, the sides of LED panel light would be dark, or different parts of light shows different brightness. In order to improve the luminous efficiency, the network design is quite essential. Besides, you should pay attention to the light guide quality. Brands do not equal to the quality. Quality is quality.

4. LED Diffuser Panel
LED diffuser panel exports the light from light guide, and diffuses the light network. It's generally made from 2.0 acrylic panel, or PC materials, or PS materials. Acrylic cost less but its light transmittance is better than that of PC materials. PC materials cost more but it's superior in aging resistance. Do remember, the light transmission should be around 90% if the panel light is mounted with diffuser panel. The light transmittance of acrylic is about 92%, that of PC is 88%, and PS' is probably 80%. Most manufacturers would use acrylic materials for dissuser panel process. You may choose the material upon your request.

5. Reflective Sheet
Reflected sheet reflect the light from the back of light guide to improve light efficiency. Usually, the specification is RW250.

6. Rear Cover
The main role of rear cover is to seal LED panel light. 1060 aluminum is commonly used for the cover, which contributes a little to heat dissipation.

7. Power Supply
There are two kinds of led power supply. One uses a constant current power, and is high efficiency. The PF value is up to 0.95. It's cost-effective. The other uses a constant current power with constant voltage. It's more stable in performance, but it shows low efficiency and costs more. In fact, the former one is quite safe for home use, because the users barely get the chance to deal with power. Besides, the panel light itself uses low-voltage electricity.

8. Installation Accessories
The accessories of LED panel light include suspension wire, mounting brackets and other mounting accessories.

From the perspective of quality control, spending more money on quality LED light source and light guide would be the best way to improve luminous efficiency; while considering the market, to improve aluminum frame and installation accessories of LED panel light would be a good help in sales price.
